Welcome to Koinoniasocial.com. By securing your K-ID and entering this digital sanctuary, you are agreeing to abide by the Covenant of Conduct. This is a sovereign agreement between you (the Citizen) and the Koinonia Social Ecosystem (the Platform).
Responsibility: Your Citizen-ID Username is your digital signature within the Sanctuary. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your access keys.
Identity: We believe in the "Honorable Identity." While we respect privacy, any attempt to use the Michael Shield to mask fraudulent activity, impersonate a Herald, or disrupt the Hearth is a violation of this Covenant.
Ownership: What you create, you own. Whether it is a Spark, a Ember, or a Sound of Faith track, the intellectual property remains yours.
License: By posting to the Hearth, you grant Koinonia a non-exclusive, global license to host, store, and resonance-amplify your content within the ecosystem.
The Standard of Truth: The Sanctuary is built on the Axiom of Grace. While we do not "censor" opinions, we reserve the right to remove content that violates our Statement of Faith regarding the person of Christ, incites physical violence, or involves illegal exploitation.
The Foundation Fee: All transactions within the Community Commons, Merchant Hubs, and Guild Exchange are subject to the 6.4% Foundation Fee (split between Buyer and Seller).
The Ledger: All financial activity is recorded on the Sovereign Ledger. Any attempt to circumvent the Ledger for B2C transactions "off-platform" to avoid the 1.6% Mission/Hub splits is considered a breach of fellowship.
Refunds: Individual Merchants and Heralds set their own refund policies, but the Infrastructure Fee (3.2%) is generally non-refundable as it covers the cost of the secure transaction.
Data Sovereignty: We do not sell your data. We do not "harvest" your private DMs for advertising. Your data is your property.
The Shield’s Reach: The Michael Shield will proactively defend the Sanctuary from bots, scrapers, and malicious external actors. By using the site, you consent to our automated security protocols.
Peaceful Resolution: In the event of a dispute between Citizens (e.g., in the Guild Exchange), we encourage the Matthew 18 Protocol: seek a direct resolution first.
Arbitration: If a resolution cannot be reached, the Platform’s DGTL.Deacons will act as neutral mediators. By using Koinonia, you waive the right to class-action lawsuits in secular courts, agreeing instead to binding arbitration governed by the principles of the Sanctuary.
We reserve the right to "extinguish the Ember" of any account that repeatedly violates the Covenant of Conduct or the Statement of Faith. Exclusion from the Sanctuary is a last resort, intended to protect the frequency of the Hearth for the rest of the Remnant.
As the Exodus grows, this Covenant may evolve. We will notify all Citizens of significant changes via The Hearth. Continued use of the platform constitutes your "Amen" to the updated terms.
The Community Covenant
Guideline: All speech must be "seasoned with salt." We encourage healthy debate on theology, but personal attacks, mockery, and "flaming" are not permitted.
The Goal: To build up, not to tear down.
Guideline: Prayer requests and personal testimonies shared in private groups must stay there. Gossip or the resharing of sensitive information without consent is prohibited.
The Goal: To create a "Psychologically Safe" space for vulnerability.
Guideline: No "catfishing" or deceptive profiles. We encourage users to be their true selves, avoiding the "highlight reel" culture that leads to comparison and envy.
The Goal: Honest fellowship over curated appearances.
Guideline: Users shall not post content that is sexually explicit, promotes violence, or uses profane language. We focus on what is true, noble, right, pure, and lovely.
The Goal: To keep the platform a "sanctuary" in the pocket.
Guideline: If a user has an issue with another, we encourage direct, private communication first rather than "calling out" someone publicly on the feed.
The Goal: Peace and reconciliation within the digital body.
